Japan is an endless source of surprise

The quality of the picture is poor (my old J-SH53's camera is getting worst and worst) but still you can see a man looking at a monitor on his left while driving (the monitor - 6" more or less - is the white rectangle right over his elbow).
What you cannot see, and what made me laugh for a long long time, is what he was whatching. One hint: it was not the traffic condition, that monitor is usually in front of the driver, not on the passenger' seat. Any guess?

Italy vs Japan

Thanks to google and a little bit of photoediting it is really easy to compare Italy and Japan. In particular, it is worth noticing that Tokyo is almost at the same latitude of Kairouan, in Tunisia, while Pisa is "close" to Asahikawa, in Hokkaido.

Another shake

An earthquake registering 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted Tokyo and Chiba at 1:15 a.m. Monday, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
There were no reports of casualties or damage and no tsunami warning was issued. The quake was centered in Chiba Prefecture east of Tokyo.

ItaRian once again ;-)

The rainy season

Here we are. Once again, the rainy season (梅雨) has started. Everything was almost fine until 15 minutes ago, and then all of a sudden the typhoon arrived, and the city was flooded under a water of wall.
